The 2019 XCMG CV122PD is a heavy-duty, self-propelled, single drum vibratory compactor designed for demanding earthwork and soil compaction applications. Powered by a Cummins QSB4.5 Tier 4 Final diesel engine producing approximately 130 horsepower, the CV122PD delivers strong torque and fuel-efficient performance while meeting modern emissions requirements. The engine is paired with a fully hydraulic drive system that provides smooth acceleration, excellent traction, and consistent compaction performance across a wide range of jobsite conditions. The machine operating weight is 30,203 lbs. and features an 84-inch (2,130 mm) padfoot drum. Dual-amplitude and dual-frequency vibration settings allow operators to match compaction energy to material conditions, improving density results while maximizing productivity. High and low amplitude settings generate substantial centrifugal force for deep lift compaction and surface finishing applications. An articulated steering system provides excellent maneuverability, while a climbing capability of up to 42% gradeability allows the roller to work efficiently on slopes, embankments, and uneven terrain. The hydrostatic drive system delivers smooth control and dependable traction in challenging ground conditions. The enclosed ROPS/FOPS-certified cab is designed for operator comfort and productivity, featuring air conditioning, heating, ergonomic controls, excellent visibility, vibration isolation, and a comfortable suspension seat.
