Caterpillar Landfill Compactor featuring: • CAT 3176C Engine • Block Heater • Powershift Transmission • Cab (ROPS) w/ A/C • Steeple Tip Combination Wheels • CAT U Landfill Blade • No Spin Front Differential • Front & Rear Striker Bars • Radiator Deflector Guard • Lights, Wipers, Heater • Radio, Mirrors • Rated at 254 HP • Weight 52,000 LBS In 2016, MEL Rebuilt/Reconditioned this Cat 816F compactor at 12,600 hours: • Rebuilt engine, torque converter, transmission & transfer case • Inspected, cleaned & reconditioned radiator & cooler assemblies • Rebuilt front & rear differential & axle assemblies • Inspected all power train mounting points • Rebuilt rear axle oscillation • Inspected frame articulation points & rebuilt as needed • Inspected all driveshafts & replaced all u-joints • Replaced steering pins & bushings • Resealed leaking or damaged steering & blade cylinders • Replaced leaking or damaged hoses • Checked operation of implement & control valves & repaired/resealed as needed • Inspected & replaced wiring harnesses & electrical wiring as needed • Rebuild blade mounting points & lift cylinder mount as needed • Reconditioned A/C system • Checked all cab/operator controls & reconditioned as needed • Reconditioned cab interior - replaced operator seat assembly & cab floor mat with new • Interior was repainted • Checked all electrical components & reconditioned/replaced as needed • Repaired all sheet metal damage including all panels, steps, grab handles & railings • Complete machine was then sand blasted, primed & painted - new decals installed This unit will be put through our "Marcel Reconditioning Process" It will be thoroughly Cleaned, Inspected and all Needed Repairs & Servicing will be Completed.
