The Vermeer VRC820 is a highly versatile, eight-wheel carted wheel rake designed for efficient hay and forage management in mid-sized operations. It features a rugged, one-piece steel frame and a high-clearance design that allows heavy crops to pass through without plugging, ensuring the formation of clean, box-shaped windrows. Operators benefit from tool-free adjustments for raking width (up to 20.1 ft) and windrow size, as well as a patented rubber torsion suspension system that maintains consistent ground pressure to minimize crop loss and tine wear. This model also supports single-side raking for working on ditches and uneven terrain, and includes an improved hydraulic system for smooth, synchronized lifting and lowering during transport and field turns.
