The Kronos Standard High Body Mulcher is designed for efficient, high-volume vegetation control in tough working conditions. Featuring a high body construction, it allows superior material flow to handle thick grass, crop residue and light scrub with ease, reducing blockages and maintaining productivity. Ideal for broadacre crop and stubble mulching, rice stubble mulching, pasture maintenance and cotton crop applications, the Kronos Standard delivers a clean, consistent finish and reliable performance for farmers, contractors and land managers. • 3pt linkage centrally mounted with floating top link; Cat 3. • 180hp single speed Comer T301 gearbox with free-wheeling internal clutch on K4000 - K6400. • 280hp, single speed gearbox with free-wheeling internal clutch on K8000. • Drive shaft with 1 3/8” 6 spline yoke on all models except 8000 which has 1 3/4” 20 spline yoke. • SPB cogged belt side drive: 4+4 belts on 4000 & 4800; 5+5 on 5400 & 6400 & 6+6 on 8000. • Dual side drive with single rotor on 4000 & dual rotors on all other models. • Rotor 298.5mm x 10mm. • Reversible, Boron steel ‘Y’ flails. • Replaceable wear and tear body lining. • Single overlapping flail and “Comb” shredder bar for the finest mulch. • Flail tip speeds: 70m/sec on 4000 & 4800; 68m/sec on 5400 & 6400 & 66m/sec on 8000. • Rear hinged doors for crop ejection, mulching, cleaning or maintenance. • Front hinged doors for ease of cleaning and maintenance. • Height control by rear pivoting wheels (10.0/75-15.3). 2 x 4000 - 5400 & 4 x 6400 & 8000. • Automatic belt tensioner.
