CAT 836G Landfill Compactor is currently being put through our "Marcel Reconditioning Process". All Needed Repairs, Rebuilding and Servicing will be completed. Equipped with CAT SU Landfill Blade, Wheel Options Available, No Spin Front & Rear Differentials and Rear View Camera RECONDITIONED CAT 836G Landfill Compactor featuring: • CAT 3456 Engine • Powershift Transmission • Cab (ROPS) w/ A/C • Assist Steering • CAT SU Landfill Blade • No Spin Front & Rear Differentials • Front & Rear Striker Bars • Front Window Guard • Rear View Camera • Wheel Options Available • Rated at 525 HP • Weight 118,500 LBS This CAT 836G has been through our "Marcel Reconditioning Process" The following repairs & servicing have been completed: Stripped machine and power washed Cut open filters and inspected for contaminates All clean except for transmission filter that had some metal debris (see transmission notes below) Inspected magnets & suction screens All clean except transmission suction screen (see transmission notes below) Completed all pressure and performance checks (engine, torque, transmission & hydraulic) All were within OEM spec after repairs were completed Center hitch it tight Rear axle oscillation is tight Repaired all lights as needed Resealed front ant rear axle yokes Installed new lower differential bolts Replaced all worn / leaking oil / fluid lines, hoses & tubes Replaced all oil lines going through center hitch area REBUILT electrical bay ENGINE Resealed exhaust manifold & installed new studs Installed NEW exhaust wrap Installed NEW fuel lines Completed engine valve set Resealed valve cover base & valve cover TRANSMISSION Due to material found in transmission filter & suction screen Removed transmission, disassembled & inspected Found a failed bearing in transmission REBUILT transmission REBUILT torque convertor Disassembled, inspected and resealed transfer gear case Ran all powertrain calibrations & verified pressures PUMPS REBUILT implement pump REBUILT steering pump REBUILT transmission pump REBUILT brake pump CAB Reconditioned Cab as needed: Stripped and cleaned Cleaned & service HVAC system Installed NEW blower motor Installed NEW rear wiper motor Replaced radio REBUILT seat suspension assembly Repaired steering wheel lock Completed all needed misc repairs in cab WELDING & COSMETICS Repaired axle seal guards as needed Replaced right side rear axle eyebrow Removed fuel tank & cleaned Fabricated new side steps Fabricated new walkway steps Reconditioned blade as needed Completed other welding & cosmetic repairs as needed Complete machine will be sandblasted, primed and painted factory colors, and New decals will be applied. In 2015 at 12,289 frame hours, This CAT 836G received a CAT CCR (Complete Certified Machine Rebuilt) - This machine was stripped down to the bare frame and rebuilt to New specifications by an authorized Caterpillar dealer with a full New machine warranty.
