Description
The Bush-Whacker ST-104 (and pull-type ST-104P) is an 8-foot (104-inch) heavy-duty dual-spindle rotary cutter built for farmers, landowners, and right-of-way mowing contractors.
• Cutting Width: 104 inches total (57-inch swathe to the right of the tractor centerline, 47-inch swathe to the left).
• Cutting Height: 2 inches to 13 inches.
• Deck Design: Double-deck smooth top design with a 7-gauge lower deck and 12-gauge upper deck (combined deck thickness of 0.2921 inches). The smooth top protects the inner support frame and makes cleaning easier.
• Sides: 1/4-inch flat steel plate shaped to form the cutter sides.
• Gearboxes (540 RPM): 120 HP main or transfer box and 100 HP outboard boxes featuring 2 1/8-inch output shafts, malleable housings, and forged alloy steel gears.
• Blades: 1/2-inch alloy spring steel blades with an airlift design, free-swinging on shoulder bolts.
• Slip Clutch & Protection: Heavy-duty spring-type adjustment with two friction discs on the main shaft, plus shock-absorbing rubber discs with splined spiders for outboard protection.
