Description
Twinstar Hay Rake: We had 400 acres of hay of which this unit raked 3 crops per year for 3 years all under wheel-lines (it did not have to battle pivot tracks). The rake was not used last year and has always been shedded. No known issues. By far, I would say this is the best hay rake we had ever owned as it could flip two windrows without combining them OR combine them, it was fast and dirt put in the windrow was non-existent and leaf retention was very good. Since the 6430 was capable of supplying the rake with full hydraulics we removed the silver hydraulic routing/control box, this provided us greater convenience to vary the speed of the baskets from the tractor seat rather than having to stop and get out and adjust said control box. Know the control box is in the 6430 if someone buys the rake for a tractor that does not have multiple svc's and or higher hydraulic flow.
