Description
David Brown 995 loader tractor in working condition. Approximate 1967 mfg date. Starts well and runs well. Forward and reverse gears all working well. Three point hitch and PTO working well. 2 PTO speeds. Loader working well. It has hydraulic ports and remote, but I've never had any equipment that had a hydraulic attachment or control, so I've never tried that. I've owned this tractor for 14 years, and used it lightly each winter only for snow blowing and bringing in firewood logs from the wood lot, and really had very little work for it in the summers. Works well and really never let me down majorly, except for a starter rebuild this past spring and a new block heater the past winter. Diesel engine, and I've always ran road diesel in it from the gas station. Efficient. Burns very little fuel in a winter of snow blowing our driveway, generally only used 3 or 4 Jerry cans a winter. Starts well in the winter as long as the block heater is plugged in. The clutch might need a rebuild if your planning on pulling heavy loads or plowing, but its been fine for me, and would be a great tractor for a country property, snow removal at home, or a small hobby farm tractor or market garden. Brakes are not good, pretty much non existent. I've simply put down the loader bucket to stop for many years now. I've found a 4 wheel drive tractor that better suits my needs in the wood lot. Looking to sell this tractor before winter.Spécifications
